Last picture for today:
IMG_0481.jpeg

I have taken off the mufflers, looked very good.
Took off the top cover, this hasn't had a hard life, it's dirty, and needs a couple of thorough washes, but for $100 I've made a bargain.
It only took me about five years to get this far lol
Will be new sealing, fuel hose, filter, carb kit, doubtful if there will be porting. May do a AT, and probleby timing wheel to learn.

I haven't followed ebay or other places for 3-4 years, but when I did a 238 piston could appear every couple of years.
242 more often but always sold super fast.

For those looking for super rare parts, use the part number when searching on ebay, I've found that most things don't pop up then. Husqvarna is not needed in the search string, it destroys precise hits.
That's how I get hold of some of this super rare parts.

Wake up, slackers! It’s Friday!

Time for this guy to have some breakfast, then we’re getting the kids up and hitting the road.

Btw, the northern lights are still out, and flickering in a really cool show.
Where you going to this weekend

I've found that messing with the spaces or just mashing the whole part number together can yield different results too. On Google at least.

Good morning gentlemen,
A simple plan for the day, pressure test the part project, as well as wash.

I've found that messing with the spaces or just mashing the whole part number together can yield different results too. On Google at least.
Yup, it was google search that gave me this 238 piston, I find it rewarding to have to put in a little extra effort to find weird nos parts.
