I enjoy the flying but hate the airport experiences. Chasing luggage and racing to catch flights are 2 stressful things that I don't need. I'd much rather take my life in my hands, and drive myself.

I'm a little leary of all the pilots that are dropping dead an getting replaced with DIE candidates. Maybe it's just me...

I guess I am not paying attention, probably because I haven't flown in over 2 years and have no plans to fly in the immediate future, so I was not aware of this little tidbit

We were flying multiple multiple times a year for the past 25 years, even throughout the whole Covid debacle, but after selling out in Hawaii I have had absolutely no desire to go anywhere that I can't drive to in a few hours

We are planning to go to Iceland, Scotland, and Norway for our 50th anniversary in a couple of years so hopefully the situation has improved

In the meantime, I am earthbound

What is wrong with the hip?
If it is wore out a replacement hip joint is worth the trouble. Everyone that has one replaced says they would have done it sooner if they knew how good it feels/works.
