Looks like a Hail Mary bolt out of something.
I was trying to get the harmonic balancer bolt out of a Toyota engine recently - I had cheaters on both my chain wrench and my breaker bar.
My neighbor was watching and he said it looked like I was wrestling a Sloth-Bear. Service manual said the bolts are torqued to 254 ft-lbs.
Got evacuation warning at around 10pm. I don’t think it’s heading this way but never know. I’ll be evacuating to Reno shortly anyway lol.Just the yellow zone, sheriffs are going door to door from Bear Creek back towards Georgetown though. A year or two back my brother was living in Georgetown and got evac'd but the fire missed where he was staying and we weren't evac'd. According to several locals all fires go Northeast and we're south-southwest so we should be fine. On the plus side, the more near misses there are the less fuel there is for next time!
I hope it misses you and your property!Got evacuation warning at around 10pm. I don’t think it’s heading this way but never know. I’ll be evacuating to Reno shortly anyway lol.
I hope so too!!!I hope it misses you and your property!
Could have come up and helped me Tuesday put a metal roof on a house only got to the mid 90s lolGood morning men. Ran out of cold water yesterday, all we have is Luke warm. Been hotter than hades here lately, can only work outside in the shade, and even then for a short while. I miss burning wood. Staying warm is much easier than cooling off. Stay safe all.
I would moveCould have come up and helped me Tuesday put a metal roof on a house only got to the mid 90s lol
Hope it misses you as well. AND that enough rains come through to help tramp the fire down, but not so much to have the mud slides.I hope so too!!!
Looks like it’ll be here tomorrow, flash flooding in the forecast…I hope they’re wrong. Stay safe down there. We have lots of water everywhere. A few ponds/ lakes have busted their dams.
My farm pond is about 12" before it overtops the dam. It is very close to busting.
We have had 12" of rain in some areas.
Lots of flooded homes around the rural areas near creeks and rivers.
The last picture that camera ever took….The Pittsburgh Post Gazette was here a few weeks ago doing interviews for a workforce development story. Camera crew here all day too. Multi page write up and i made it in. Woody and myself talking about intersecting gable roofs. Pretty cool stuffs in my opinion. View attachment 428941
