I wouldn't know how to operate a safe and functional tractor lol everybody around here just pieces them together and hopes for the best.

I feel and understand that comment deeply 🤣

Up until last year, the prime mover at my parents house was a '27 McCormick 15-30. My dad has graduated to a '41 Case VC. There is a Cub LoBoy 154 as well, but im pretty sure the blowby coming from the breather exceeds the amount of exhaust from the muffler.

I bought a subcompact tractor brand new when we got our new property in 2019, and it was weird not having to fight it every time there was work to do.

Morning ope. Almost completed the lawn mowing this morning. Was so dark the outside lights came on. Was chased to the garage from the rain and not a moment too soon. It’s pouring out now. Guess I’ll have to finish it tomorrow. We need the rain though.

Stay hydrated with all that “heat” you’ll endure today.
Well, I am pounding down the coffee as a base layer, then I transition to plain water for the remainder of the day

I paid my dues growing up in the desert so I will embrace 75 and work on my tan, Alaska style

;)

What’s up folks!? Been a hot dry sob here. I’ve been short handed for work lately so I’m ready for a break. Me and the Mrs. are gonna do a stay-cation starting August 1st.

Hi Dan! I had read somewhere that Greece has a pretty bad drought going on right now. Elevated fire dangers and all. Are you and yours doing okay over there?

My newest tractor is a '78 John Deere.
White oak. Used 2 1/4". A buddy of mine installs flooring, and is taking out 800 sq ft of it. I offered to buy it if he removes it carefully and keeps it dry.

Morning / Evening All. We continue to have a haze hanging over us that seems to n be keeping the humidity trapped making outside work almost unbearable.
Muggy here as well. There was a 0.6" hour of rain around 10am this morning. Moistures helped bump the humidity to 97% with a 68f temp currently.

I did get a bit of a snack picked shortly after the rain, so one item of the HtDL.
