Thanks. I wound up losing interest in the Regal and selling it before I finished it. Kinda bummed me out to end it that way, but I wouldn't have wound up with this significantly cooler car if I hadn't, so that's the silver lining. This car will get the same powerplant that was destined for the Regal, so it will live on in that respect.

Hope you and yours fare okay through that hurricane.

I didn't use a base gasket
It's a good thing i put 4.5 true blue rope on it
It would've snapped the china rope.
I might have to get a button on it i couldn't pull it at all without a bar on it.
Feels real strong it flows much better than stock i had to adjust carb settings several turns in
I'll try to get it started tomorrow to tune in wood.

The recoil is still together probably 30 starts now i figured it would let go but it's good
Couldn't stall it at all it holds rpm leaning on it hard
I'll try a 8 pin


The minute i flood it I'll send it to you for a button.
I have 3 more of these 288s because the guy's that had me order them last black friday traded for 372s the 288s were too much for them
I like these the best of the clones.
