Just pulled the deck off the cub cadet to replace the blades. New blades didn't have the same center hole pattern. So i sharpened the original ones and put them back on. Slacking in progress now.

The Amazon. The blades i bought have the star hole. I need ones with a "S" shaped hole.

Not quite as graphic as VPs, but this Cummins came back from internal reman and promptly made a noise.
I wasn't there for all the teardown but I know the timing cover holes shouldn't be sheared off or elongated, the idler bolts should be one piece, not two, and the inspection cover shouldn't really be holding the idler pulley in...
