I started taking amlodipine for blood pressure a few weeks ago. Pain in my lower legs has become unbearable in the last few days. I did a search for side effects of amlodipine, and this is the number one thing.....

i was on that but cardiologist is putting me on a different one that supposed to get better results
i couldnt tell if it made me hurt anymore than normal or not lol
blood pressure today was 158/108

lol ive always been one to be able to sleep even right after having a coffee
but its just too early in the day
11 am is the earliest can nap
day before yesterday i napped from noon until 1

It can cause edema....and that's what's happening. Ankles and knees are swollen.

my left leg was a little tight when bending but not swollen

Randy, there are so many different BP meds that the Dr should be able to get you on something that doesn’t hurt.
