I’m notWhy are you worried about where he pee's??
Does she intentionally bat the ball side to side? Wouldn’t it be bad to hit it straight out?
Best news all dat!!!
I was wondering the same thing.
A cricket batter stands pretty much in the middle of an oval field. Maybe 50 mtrs/yds available to score from in every direction. A touch more straight ahead, a bit less behind.I thought the same thing when I looked at the picture. But I didn't wanna ask.
Its easier to just swing for the seats and trot around the bases.A cricket batter stands pretty much in the middle of an oval field. Maybe 50 mtrs/yds available to score from in every direction. A touch more straight ahead, a bit less behind.
Different players have different favoured shots. Olivia is strong "square" (at right angles to the bowled/pitched delivery) on both sides, whereas Cody prefers to hit the ball very hard back the direction it came from ("straight ") more like you baseball watchers would be accustomed to. But a cricket shot/hit is more often played with a vertical bat as opposed to the horizontal baseball one.
The shot Olivia is practicing in the pic is called a "pull". You pull the ball from ahead of you to your leg side somewhat at right angles.
That's probably enough for Joedirt...

Baseball vs Cricket comparison. Baseball and Cricket are two well-known members of the 'bat and ball' family of games. While the basic principle is the same, the two games differ in their rules, terminology, playing equipment, number of players, field size etc. Rules The basic prin...www.diffen.com
If it makes the seats off the bat there isn't any need to run in cricket. Its easier to just swing for the seats and trot around the bases.
I went with a different route since I hadn't checked this thread, I checked availability of common parts (good enough) and asked shops. The most informative place, in between bs-ing, told me they do not recommend newer Fords because of all the plastic chit in them. But, if it made it to 193k it isn't one that was built Friday night. I'm thinking I'll look at it, if something's funky I'll leave it be, if it seems good I'll get it and run it until I've rebuilt the Land Cruiser suspension and then consider flipping it.
Who's tweedle twat in the red shirt?
I read the article, but it doesn't explain the wickets. Does the batsmen defend the wickets from the bowler? If it makes the seats off the bat there isn't any need to run in cricket.
Good morning men. Raining here and a high of 47. Going build a new reloading bench today. As well as a shooting bench for my 300yd firing point. Stay safe ay!
You must have lolGood morning men. You too Dally.
Same. Actually been over 2 years now since we moved, and even though I built a nice bench for my setup, I haven’t used it. I love my RCBS single stage for rifle cartridges. I’ve thought about getting a progressive for pistol, but I don’t shoot enough to warrant it.Whatcha got for a reloader, Larry?
My RCBS rock chucker has been sitting dormant for a bit over a year now. Just haven't been out burning much ammo lately.
I have lee stuff, bought it when I was poor, thinking I would replace it as I became less poor. Found it does a good job, and doesn't break, so it hasn't been replaced. I have a single, a four hole turret, and a pro-1000 for pistol calibers. I had to learn to keep the pro1000 running, and I don't recommend them for the mechanically challenged. But it churns out 9, 45, 38/357 ammo just fine.Whatcha got for a reloader, Larry?
