Reminds me of both my Winnebago RVs

Every single wire throughout the coach that had to do with any of the RV systems was yellow

Regardless of wire size or purpose

Bundles 3” around of yellow wires

Was this vehicle previously in a accident?

Had a similar experience 25 yrs. ago, micro nicks in the insulations of 3 strands, a while after repairs got it back on the road more issues cropped up, and the wires were severed and corroded back from the break.

Being that this is a high speed data line, it's twisted, so that helps find it in the bundle.
There was no com with the steering angle sensor module, and high speed lines have a 120 ohm terminating resistor so one can simply measure the pair at the given module to test integrity.
From there, just need to break the circuit down as needed to find the fault.

No.
This is an unfortunate common theme on the 14 and up trucks..
I think they either had burrs on the spools or on the harness jigs while making them and compromised the insulation right from the get go..

Of all the unnecessary bull_shit on today's vehicles, this sounds most unnecessary.
I wish my crystal ball had been working and I had kept the trucks and vehicles I had in my youth that only needed a timing light, dwell meter, a few hand tools and a manual to keep running almost indefinitely
