I've got a real nice grill in the barn that someone let blow over and wrecked the doors and stuff on. They gave it away afterward. I was glad to have it, as it works like a new grill.....

I think it will mostly be okay, it landed in snow and the doors shut ok, I am sure the heavy ass grates and burner covers are all jumbled up inside but I am hoping any damage will just be cosmetic

I tried to get the cement guys to pour a walkway from the patio around to meet the stoop they poured at the garage man door so I could roll it in and out of the garage, but they didn't want to pour concrete over the line to the septic tank

Sounded like a weak excuse to me but whatever

I think when we get the fence around the patio it will help a lot although for now I probably better set a couple of eye bolts in the concrete patio and ratchet strap the grill down

I was more worried about the new shed because we had a storm a year ago that picked up sheds from the lot of a shed company and blew them across the 4 lane highway

The storm ripped the front door and frame completely out of our house that was under construction and ripped all the OSB sheets off the garage openings and filled the house with snow

Been there, done that, thanksgiving week 2020 on the side of the mountain just outside buena vista, it was not pretty. Blew the front doors off the house, garage door blown off it tracks, one plus foot snow drifts in the house, and debris all over the place. Few windows had 2bys stuck threw them. Two feets of snow and 90 mph winds some freak storm that was not forecasted. Entire subdivision looked like a bomb went off. Front doors on the house was some special ordered $7,000 double doors, with windows on each side, it was completely *f-worded, cracked the casing & frame, and one of the windows next to the one door.

The builder, tried accusing us of vandalizing the house. I was like really dude, get your head out of your ass, did you look at the rest of the subdivision when you drove in this morning, or was your face buried in your iPhone? You think I have nothing better to due at night, then fly around and *f-wordup every job site in a 15 home subdivision, flip over all the porta *s-wordters, pull crap out of dumpsters, chuck it all over the roads. Rip shingles off roofs and toss them about. Make all these 6 foot drifts just for fun, pull your head out of your *f-wording ass, I told him. That builder was a *dipstick

We called it a day and left, went to the nearest tavern for bloodies. Gave that builder a few days to think about his stupid accusations towards us. Monday morning after thanksgiving, he called me, do plan to come back, or do need to find someone else? I said I don't know, you plan to rethink your accusations from last week or what? Him, yeah you were right I had my face buried in my phone that morning and did not notice any of the other sites that were also damaged.

That Mfer would not even make eye contact with us, the rest of the time we were on that house.

I knew he was all freaked out about the front doors, because when we did our walk through on the house before we started, he was all worried about the front doors, and thought we might scratch them, so he had his carpenter build a temp box around them with 3/8 plywood, he said that would help him sleep at night, knowing they would not get *f-worded up. Mother nautre had other plans.....

They still had the junky old "work doors" on the front and garage entrances so the good door with glass didn't get wrecked and of course they tossed the frame and replaced it

Here is a link to the news story about storm last year that caused the damage, there are some cool pictures (pun intended)

We lost power last night and the power company's facebook page said the entire Mat-Su region was without power

We got ours back in 3 hours but some areas are still without power

This storm was supposed to blow out by 9:00 AM this morning but it's still going strong

full chizel

Not my territory. It gets cold without power.
