Yep. Wonder what we'll find. This is the like the 3rd or 4th 500E series engine I've done for friends or rebuilt from the curb. Usually it's the plastic carb being dirty and that gets it running but that's not the case here.

with a 7 pin you need a aggressive chain

Nothing much. Just ate a burger and onion rings and about to see what's up with this Briggs mower. Clean carb, fresh gas and oil and new SP. Has compression, fuel and air but won't fire up.

Can. I've gotten numerous mowers, blowers, saws, edgers, lots of 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines to run that have sat and needed work. Tomorrow I'll know if this one fires up.
