Found this Wednesday. Hard to tell from the pic, but thats a 50 lb chunk of steel and copper windings hanging on by one fatigued 5/8" stud.
If it broke, it would most-likely fall directly on the operators head. We shut that one down on the spot.

Oh, and its the main electric brake for the hoist. The part that picks stuff up.
