I'm trying to decide if I should remove the old shingles from the house where I'm re-roofing, or just trim off the edges and roof over them.

I should have said that I'm trying to talk myself out of a tear off....but I know I can't. LOL

We didn't have a single day here this summer that was hot enough for the adhesive to warm up and the shingles to sort themselves out

Still rather lumpy looking and I am worried about heading into winter that way

Been raining for two days straight here now. I'm over it. My backyard is a swamp. Supposed to get some decent weather this week. Hopefully dry and sunny enough to where I can get some firewood in the house, without it being too soggy. It's nice and seasoned, but wet as hell from all this rain.

I'm almost as lazy as Jason today.

I gotta 1/2 a greedy heepin' Hoosier humdinger load of far'wood to s/s, at least another full load cut on the ground, 6 miles down the road at The Hippy Bob's place, gotta' fetch it home and it will prolly get to "sun" a'fore I get it s/s in the shed.
Maybe an hour of mowing is also on my very busy schedule.
Of course the weather is gonna be nice for the next several days so if I slow down my pace a little,...I could always get started tomolly

Good afternoon all. Spent the morning in the deer blind, they busted me. Must have smelled me. They were almost in front of my shooting lane. Two snorts and then gone. Was still fun. Then went to a couple local producers for lamb and heavy cream. Going to see if the Mennonites will sell and butcher me a cow.

Have a good day roofers. I would only go over if one layer Randy. Sorry. The secret to metal is screws only on top of the ribs. Where the water spends the least amount of time.

Not me. I got off work at 7:00am and when i got home i changed the oil and rotated the tires on my truck and changed the wife’s oil.

Maybe later i’ll rotate the wife tires, if ya know what i mean

My late friend Charles wanted to see Greece and France again after traveling through Greece and being stationed in France in the 60s in the air force.
A few year's ago he sold off his gun collection and went all over both countries with his air force buddy.
He even found his favorite prostitute who owned a bar in the 60s in France
She long since retired
And wasn't taking any new business he told me.
I'm glad he got to travel where he wanted before he passed away
He always loved it over there.

That's cool he got to travel back and see it again while he was still around.

Gonna go fetch a log of hemlock and get my rail material sawn up.
