Only Tony, your Grandpa may have known my Dad.
Dad claimed he was the second American to set foot on Anzio beech. Went from Private to Sargent that day.
He drank beer and used baco heavily. IMO he wore his scars very well. To me he was ten foot tall and bullet proof, and VERY humble. I carried big respect for him and his buds.

Good morning folks. 61 to 75 today and winds much like these.

Enough so that garden plants are tipped over with roots pulled from the soil somes.

When I got home yesterday there was an empty pot on the back deck, in the morning it had started at the far end of the side and was full or marigolds. Let's just say T was a little grumpy about the weather...
