Morning/ Evening all. Pretty light on the chores today, just need to do a dump run with last weeks yard waste and garbage. Start the day getting hurt by the massage therapist, then some sportsings. Football game this afternoon and then going to watch a friend’s boys play Box Lacrosse.

Good day folks. was56 going to 82is today. Got the initial blueberry plants in yesterday afternoon, and on the way to the game picked up another pair. This all started due to 1 plant dying off over the winter. So now 4 have replaces one. Ha, sounds like a CAD type problem.

I want to thank everyone for all the positive thoughts for my mom and family. Dad said mom had to get a glove on her left hand today as she was trying to remove her feed tube with that hand. Her left side hadn’t moved much till today. She asked for a Diet Coke so they tried a water swab and she swallowed with that so they let her have a little Diet Coke. She told dad she wants to go home with him today. Been a long week and a half but things are getting better. Once my ribs come off the smoker I’ll go see mom.

I met a man in SC that woke up nearly completely paralyzed from a stroke he had in his sleep. His arm was still in a sling.....and he had some tough times in therapy, but he was walking well enough to be visiting the USS Yorktown. I pray that your mother recovers as well.

My inlaws decided to surprise me and take the kids for the afternoon and possibly over night. Wife’s at work and times like this without distractions are few and far between. As much as I’d love to slack, I got plenty of work to do around here and better get after it!

I hope your mom recover and can get home.

A friend of mine had a severe stroke in his 40s, he was well trained, ran marathons etc.
The prognosis after surgery was that he would become a vegetable, he never rehabilitated 100%, but has come so far that he speaks fluently, walks, can use a hand, and he has taken his certificate again and drives a car.
