ive lived in california. ive talked to homeless people on santa monica beach. you know why they are there? not because of californias failed policies or whatever. its because if ur gonna be homeless, you should be homeless in a place with spectacular weather.

I completely agree, I'd rather be homeless in Santa Monica than under a bridge in Cleveland on a January night.

Thanks brody.

Things that are more important than politics.

Speaking of youth sports..I'm only gonna *b-word about one more thing..

I don't know if this applies to everyone and everywhere..

My friends spend thousands of dollars for their kids to play on travel teams because local recreation leagues and teams have been snuffed out.

It makes me insane.

We know people like this, and I just shake my head. It takes the fun out of it. We’re fortunate to have a great little league program here between towns. It’s local enough that we usually know someone’s parents from the opposing team no matter where we are or who we’re playing.

I agree. That subject can turn friends into enemies before they even know what happened these days. Ballgame was fun - as fun as watching TBall can be anyway lol
watching my oldest boys (8 years old at the time) basketball games this last year was waaaay more entertaining than i imagined it could be haha.

I like that, it maintains a sense of community.
