The line that is by 5/8 on my tape should be reading 1 3/8". 3/4" difference from 2 floors below. And we need 1 1/4 inches of continuous drywall to achieve the proper fire rating

Yeah, but if your 2 floors higher, you forgot to account for there's less gravity because your closer to space and there's therefore less oxygen so fire ratings are irrelevant.
And stuff.

All those numbers, hell there has to be at least 100-120 of them!
I tore out 3 fire walls about a month ago doing some demolition for a buddy.
All were 3 sheets thick of 5/8" drywall & they were a beotch to get out!

Today we took out 3 Harvestore silo bases. There’s a lot of dang ol’ concrete under there! Sorry no pics! I think tomorrow we’re taking down the last 2 standing stave silos. I’ll try and get pics unless I’m out grading..

Fire has jumped the harbour of the town north east of my place and they’re getting evacuated in certain areas. Biggest fire in NS recorded history. Previous 13k hectares in 1976, this one is 20k hectares. Still no status on my place

Back to work today.
Actually looked forward to it after the last week and a half.
Moms funeral was yesterday morning. Went really well.
Saw a lot of folks I hadnt seen for years, and may not get to see again.
I think she is at peace finally.
Just get that feeling when a funeral goes off that well, and no heavy emotions, arguing, etc.
My grandmothers(dads mom) was the same way. She was ready to go too.
