My tools were pretty well organized until Bubba got old enough to use them.
When I was a kid I never used to put my dads tools away. Now he's the one who leaves my tools out everywhere. Payback I guess.
Kinda the same.
Whatever works for when I need it, or when I break something.
Ive got a 1/4" drive SK socket set at home that has about all of the standard and metric sizes from 1/8" up to 9/16", but the ratchet shat itself early on, and the 10 mm deep socket is a Kobalt.
I inherited a lot of SK and old Craftsman but now that both companies have sold out to Chynuh, when those sockets break, I've been replacing them with Harbor Freight. I've got a HF 5 minutes from me and they warranty stuff no questions asked so it's hard to beat the convenience. Most of the HF sockets are made in Taiwan which is better than China as far as quality and my desire to avoid funding communism. I like the Quinn, haven't tried the Icon yet, but they appear identical to Tekton for about the same price (just easier to warranty). My Snap-On, Wright, Mac, etc. all came used from various garage sales, etc.

I just used Ford Motorcraft rtv on a Chevy Cruze oil pan.
The world is still turning best I can tell.
Plus, GFY.
TA-31 is my personal favorite RTV.
