Good evening busy boyes & slacker boyos 🤪

I had a bit of a tricky job today.
Take old shed out to remove 20ft dying laburnum tree, because a new shed will be going in very soon
Beating the shed into submission with a club hammer is good for the soul 😉.

The tree had some dead branches and was leaning into a neighbours garden which had an 8 foot drop below.

The Ivy covered wall was hiding some secrets 😱.
Nothing from the tree could touch that wall otherwise it would’ve fallen into the neighbours garden🙈 the tree owner is not sure who’s responsible for the wall, and if it falls down o it’s own the people below will have to deal with it 🤔

So every bit was assessed and rigged/lowered from the tree into the tree owners garden and it all had to go throu the house . There’s no other way 🤷‍♂️

Glad you are doing better, and getting better. Be the master slacker we all know you can be, until the doctor tells you otherwise...

I am good. I am not liking the rise in temperature; that is my only gripe.

no *s-word
they act like their phones are dead when they are sleeping at their desks
Bish, my "office" needs cleaning, a good scrub down, and oil/oil filter/fuel filter changed. You like chitty Chevro-zus. Get to it!
And no, you cant wear your new halter top to wash it.

I swear I could reorganize my tool box 100 times and still not be happy with it. I'm looking a little thin on 1/2 drive metric. Might have to chase down the Snap-On truck.

Most of my sockets are in a zipper bag, and NOT on rails.
Just grab a bag of 3/8" drive short, deep, or 1/2" short/deep as needed.
Bags have swivels and extensions to handle most common situations.
Bigger jobs require plastic-cased sets of more detailed stuff.
Impact-rated jobs have plastic-cased sets of impact sockets, swivels, and a bag with different extensions, reamers, adapters, and most common needs for heavy stuff up to 2 1/2".
When that last one happens, theres also hammers from 16 oz ball pein up to a 9 lb. F-style clamps to hold chit, or C-style depending.
Levels, squares, and cutting/welding/fabricating stuff just gets dragged out as needed.
