Good morning fellow toilers in the fields. Substation fire last night, so I am preparing to ship a 230kV transformer to get power back to a lot of folks. Gotta disassemble the damn thing and put on a rail car, it weighs 180,000 pounds. Be brave and embrace the suck.
Where was this one?

Good morning men, was expecting a disaster last night as the puppy spent her first night not in a crate. Other than the usual twice a night wake up bathroom calls, there were no accidents. She barked each time she needed out. So I am tired and happy at the same time. Was expecting a present in the corner of the bedroom. Which we happily did not get.

Raining here today, supposed to be thunderstorms. Be safe all.

We took care of the cranes at all the ops centers until they contracted out their fleet maintenance a few years ago. Apparently, Collins used Deshazo Crane.

Was thinking about tue Noahs Arc yard when you said Stockbridge. Not that far away.
Probably the last place I did any work for GA Power.

Morning / Evening All.

Sorry to hear about the missing student @Kiwioilboiler , is there any hope of finding them safe or are they on a recovery mission now?

Was a little thick out here this morning, will need to wait it out and see what is revealed as the sun comes up. Does it burn off and reveal a nice day or is it the precursor to more rain.

Good morning or whatever part of the day it is for you. 53 to 75 sunny earlier, guessers claiming showers this afternoon/early evening, which would be OK, as no measurable rain for nearly a week at the homestead.

Really? We’ve had 3/4” on Sat night and another 1/4” last night… Foggy this morning. 54 now headed to 72 later… And good morning fellas.

Morning gentleman. Just a reminder that when you're working on your *s-wordbox GMs, make sure you use a good jack and jack stands. The news article attached is about a friend of my cousin's. He was under his car and the jack slipped. I don't know what the setup was, but the result was obviously tragic.

Over the weekend it stayed south and north of the homestead, foggy here but no overnite rain. The garden soil was still parched dry.

Now at the further north place there was nearly an hour heavy downpour very early Saturday morning. Enough so it woke me up.

Yeah they got the shop using DeSshazo. Not impressed. Budgets are tight these days. Here's the one I am breaking down to replace a probable catastrophic failure.
