Makes sense I suppose. I drag raced for years....and u-joint failures can be catastrophic. So when I see something like this, I feel the need to know exactly why.
Driveshaft hoops have saved many a asses from having serious injuries. I've seen them do their job a couple times. Also seen what happens when one isn't used. A guys brand new procharged 2010 Sierra comes to mind. The factory driveshaft let go at 70mph. The underneath of that truck looked like he hit an ied. Dude was lucky it broke at the pinion and not the tail shaft. Probably would've hooked the road and sent that truck rolling like a pepsi can in the wind

Aint liking that one Joe.
Mudder Fuchers!
They've offered this program for 50 years or more. My dad went through it in 1982. How lucky am I that after my first semester they decide to ax it?
You could always switch to gender studies. I hear that is an up and coming field. LOL
I'll take it into consideration.
Ask for a refund @JoeDirt , make them squirm. They allowed you to sign up for a program, they owe you a refund. As well as credits earned.
Their response will be that they provided the courses I paid for. I've got an appointment with an advisor tomorrow at 10 am. Earliest I could get in. They'll still offer the core classes like the math and science courses and the credits will transfer to most other schools but they won't have any engineering specific programs and you won't get an associates from community, you'll just take the credits and transfer them to put towards your bachelors.
They got tired of ewe showing up everyday raising hell and said fuqq the whole damn engine-neering shootin' match.
Do you think it was the piss jugs?

I hear ya cluckin big chicken. All I did was let out the clutch, she snapped, I pressed the clutch back in as quickly as possible, and it not only broke the slip shaft on the driveshaft, but the yoke on the output shaft of the transfer case as well. They figure by the time I get both yokes, and 2 new u-joints, I’ll be around $800.00

And this was a very LOW speed situation! Lol
That's called torque. LOL

I broke a rear u-joint in a 75 Chevy Luv. Loop wasn't tight enough to keep the front joint from binding when it let go. Broke the transmission into three parts, and shoved the water pump into a very expensive 4 core aluminum radiator.

Speaking of short lightweight vehicles, you guys would probably appreciate my ‘78 CJ5 that I built a 401 AMC for. It’s got a 727 trans with full manual valve body and a B&M shifter that allows me to slap it into 2nd and 3rd... I never built it to drag race, but it’s surprised more than a few people at the stop lights. It’s quick!

As long as its not still running the AMC 20 out back, that should be a fun ride.

Morning slackers, bookworms and metal shavers/fabricators.
Rained here overnite, and being that it went a bit below freezing, both formed bigger sheets of ice in some areas and melted some thicker areas as well.
Morning / Evening All. -5c/23f to start the day, of course the warm up brings a little snow and frankly I’m okay with that. Won’t quite get to the melting point but will be a mess on the roads later.
Claimed to be going to 37f here, most of the fresh ice sheet should melt.
We got a little more snow.
Must have been a bit cooler overnite than we were.
Good morning guys. Rained over night. 38 now with the big high of 41 expected later. Today is pool raising day..
Hows the snow cover, we have 1'-2' in areas that are not piles!

He was on here at 4:57AM this morning, so he shouldn't be in a hospital. I think he is slacking.
He's been working lately ain't he?...now don't take that 'working' word I used literally. I'm sure he's been riding the light duty pack mule for quite some time since this ticker business been going on.
