I hate brass brake fittings. They're all marked in 16th of an inch. So a 3/8 hose to 3/8 thread is called an xxyy0606 for instance. Imperial v Metric again.Ran to town and was able to get some from the local farm type chain store.
Of course these lines used jic fittings and the only hoses they had the correct size were pipe thread so I had to get adapter fittings.
No one else think it's ironic they've got you when it comes to flaps?Everything associated with running any flight control checks…flaps, slats, spoilers, rudders, elevators is all JIC fittings from the actuation/pump carts and hoses to every poppet-style QD end fittings and hoses we have to run these. More JIC fittings than you could shake a damn stick at.
