We use a hatchet at the splitter. It's a "must have".I've got an x17 that's handy for pounding wedges and when you get one of those stringy bìtches on the splitter that just won't separate.
Might be. Hell I can't remember. It's a wood busting little mfer though. Easy to swing fast.Looks like an X25.
Feels like full blown winter here today, windy and cold. Supposed to be near 50° this week. Ice has been off completely for about a week. Never was thick enough for me to feel safe taking the boys out.I wish we were going to have open water in a couple weeks. I won’t be surprised if we still have icebergs in May.

We looking at 28 tomorrow morning at daybreak…f’d up weather. Peach farmers ain’t happy when we get these late freezes.
Definitely ready for spring. My box of seed potatoes showed up the other day and im ready to get out in the gardens
Not gonna lie, I cut up a bunch with the 30 ton. I may never go back to a maul. Old age makes me not care either.I've got an x17 that's handy for pounding wedges and when you get one of those stringy bìtches on the splitter that just won't separate.
The couple years I lived in Bemidji, the ice wouldn’t come off the lake until the first week of May...I wish we were going to have open water in a couple weeks. I won’t be surprised if we still have icebergs in May.

Same ol’ song and dance, dealing with Uncle Sammy’s C-17’s everyday, trying to get stuff done around the home place, crappie time coming up real soon, and the wimmins still crazier than bat *s-wordt.Thank you Jason. Yea everything is good out here. What have you been up to?
