I did a Chevy Luv with a 383 stroker many moons ago. The dash was cracked all to hell in it......so I have a sheet metal shop brake a dash for it. I used a speedometer from a Studebaker, and Autometer gauges. It turned out pretty good.

I bet that Luv was a fun mfer. I had a 383 in a 64 El Camino, and it was a lot of fun. I would just use that same approach for the dash on this project. When the 305 is done build a stroker for it.

It was......narrowed 9" rear with 4:88s

High 6s in the 1/8 on street tires through the mufflers.
