Brisket for here. All the butts are leaving around 5pm for a fundraiser later this evening for a fella in C-17’s who’s cancer has come back. I volunteered to smoke ‘em, wrap ‘em in foil, and they’re pulling ‘em…they can handle that. They *b-wordhed and moaned about paying me to do this and I told ‘em no and they wasn’t having that, so I took $50 from the kitty on Friday at work to smoke the butts to cover seasonings, charcoal and my time. I’ll slip the $50 right back in the kitty as a donation come Monday…I don’t give a damn about no $50 dollars when a man’s got cancer he’s dealing with, then throw in a wife and two kids. A *s-wordload of people have donated some of their annual leave to him, I donated 80 hrs of my paid annual leave to him last week in a leave donation program at work as well. He has no more annual or sick leave from this cancer bullshitt so we’re keeping paychecks rolling in for him and the ol lady and kiddos.

And if I ain’t said it a hundred times in the past, I’ll say it again…*f-wordK CANCER!

Good job looking out for your fellow man, even if it means starving the werms for a few hours.

Got the sunroom painted. Camera angle makes it look wider than it is. Its 10' x 12'. The filing cabinet doesnt usually hang out there, and next step is getting rid of the uglyass flooring.

Also painted a little table and chairs for the deck and the inside of a new-to-us chest freezer that had some rust popping up inside.

Seems you know your trade, and they want you to teach. Some of the best teachers have been people that were outstanding in their field. Pay no attention to detractors, just remember how little your students know, and teach appropriately. You'll be fine. Also, he is not sleepy, dopey or maybe grumpy!

Cleaned up leaves and worked on a couple saws today. I'd like to swap out the deck for the plow on the tractor but it's still too early. I ordered an attachment for the pressure washer to spray underneath the cars and trucks before I fluid film them. Should be here sometime this week.

Watching the Michigan-Michigan State game now. I have no skin in it but I think I gotta go Michigan State out of my dislike for Jim Harbaugh. What say one of our resident Michiganders? @cuinrearview

Those are the thickest looking poured walls I've ever seen. Looks good for sure. That ain't a Ryan home job there. Are the French drains also formed into the base pour?
