I'd never mill with a chainsaw, I think it's a waste of time.
You gotta be atleast partly insane and enjoy pain to do it, but once you get in the groove and learn all the little tricks to make it go faster, it ain’t so bad. Over the the last 2 years when wood prices soared I did see a lot of people thinking they’d simply just chainsaw mill up some trees off their land, most of them tried it for a hour and realized they were in over their head and it is easier said than done. Plus you need to be good a chain filing/sharpening, which most average chainsaw owners are not

My buddy has one of those tow behind mills, I forget what it's called.

After I saw that run I forgot all about using a chainsaw to mill boards.
Now you have to buy two buddies dinner.
Do the porting before, not after dinner.
Can we move this poast to its own category?

Ok flora and fauna experts...
What this growing in a brush pile. I "think" it's on a vine, but could be branches? Can't really tell and I didn't feel like wading into the pile..
I've come up with nothing that matches both the fruit and the leaf shape.
Thought maybe bayberry?
