Night shift work in a *s-wordhole foundry, then inspections the last two days.
Glad to be home.
Fired off ole Smokey tonight.
Feels pretty good, though its not that cold here.

What this growing in a brush pile. I "think" it's on a vine, but could be branches? Can't really tell and I didn't feel like wading into the pile..
I've come up with nothing that matches both the fruit and the leaf shape.
Thought maybe bayberry?

You piss them off and they go for your tender spots.

I still have a honey extractor that i loan to my neighbor for his 2 hives. Free honey and no stings.

I had looked at that but at first didn't think it was that due to the purple flowers. I don't recall ever seeing that, however I haven't been over by that brush pile much this summer so I may have missed the flowering part.
