That looks like either a CM Puller or possibly Acco 2 ton come along.
Either way, its got plenty of bawls to move that little Kitty, just dont be in a hurry.

I haven't ran it steady in two years. Didn't want to dedicate time to getting the gas pony motor and diesel engine up and running. The older guy with the beard is the buyer. He is a customer I work for.

That looks like either a CM Puller or possibly Acco 2 ton come along.
Either way, its got plenty of bawls to move that little Kitty, just dont be in a hurry.

CM 4 ton pulled it on easily. Tractor supposedly weighed #7500 and it rolled good even up the beavertail.

That old tractor had balls for what it was. That 311 engine would lug and the pony motor experience well, enough said there LOL. It had good blade height for pushing small trees.

we use cm come alongs at work and we break a good many as well
but they have been passed down from job to job and almost wore out

Yes, They were cool old pieces. As your aware I'm partial to the 1010,2010 dozers. The 1010,2010,3010, and even the 4020 tractors are my favs. Loved the tinware.

You didn't miss anything Gaz. I haven't mentioned it til now.

No more refinery. So no more refining for me. Owners decided a year ago that becoming a purely import terminal would provide a better income stream for the shareholders (same people) and they then voted to shut the plant down.
We got six months notice and union contracted severance and outstanding leave balance payed out so not a total disaster.
I got to effectively kill the plant when I was told to shut the last boiler down 29 May.
Control room probably still has the GFY I put up on the peg board a year before, once it became clear what our fate was.
