It should be EFI. But always verify before you take the drive to look at. And confirm for yourself once you have ot in front of you. Many times people don't know what the exact year of their engine is. They often are different model year than the boat. The early 2000's had plenty of changes. So just side on the cautious and ask lots of questions before you dive in. Make sure you are getting what you want and not someone elses problems.

Plenty of sites to help you look up sn# and get exact build year and so on.

Steven

The info the seller has is some of what impressed me. Sole owner,2003 boat bought new in 2005 with a 2006 motor.

Can’t do anything until at least the weekend, also need to sell this house before I buy the boat for the new one.

Is that a Komatsu 325-8 Adam? I like the portable pole mounted mirrors in that shop. There is a reason for that, probably a past near call or injury. How big a territory you covering??
Nevermind, I zoomed in and saw it's a 405. GLW your position. I'm sure you will do well. You need to be a communicator. And we'll, no shortages of that from your end. BTW liking the Hyundai loader. Good accessibility as things swing out of the way.

They are not made to pound wedges, there's a sign/symbol right on the label they come with, not to pound wedges with them....
I wouldn’t know since it didn’t have any labels when I found it in the woods off a trail. I don’t buy junk but when I find it I’ll use it till it breaks

I'm pretty sure they were referring to pounding steel wedges. You'd think you coud drive a plastic felling wedge without hiccups.

Congrats buddy. Sounds like something you will do very well with. Just be cautious of the GFY’s around the golf course.

My initial thoughts on it were probably meant splitting wedges not saw wedges as well. But obviously plastic wedges don’t go well all the time either lol. I wasn’t even reefin on it that hard

I don't post in this thread often, but I need to clue you in on this.

Doesn't matter what brand outboard. If it is a four cycle and has carbs......... Unless you run the tar out of it often and pass lots of fuel through those carbs. You will have plenty of fuel issues. My advice is to run far away from anything with carbs. Stay with efi regardless of how good the deal is. You will thank me later.

Steven
My "new" boat is a 1987.:risas3:
40 HP Johnson.
VRO has been removed, pulse and feed lines capped etc.
Standard fuel pump installed.

I broke one splitting firewood with it. Broke another one chopping limbs off with it. Both had been outside their whole life, and I think the sun weakens them.
