Do you guys have porupines out there? Got skunks here, not overly populated though. The porkys is what gives people trouble here. They eat anything and had a neighbour one chewed a big holes in his fibreglass boat. They’ve gotten to trying to eat my shed a couple times as well.

Yup, us too. I leave them alone until they start eating with the chickens, they lose their fear of being around the house. Time to go! I don't like to kill animals for no reason, but sometimes it is the only way.

I have never seen one but I can recall hearing of someones dog getting into one a time or two in the past. I think it is just one of those where one or two might wander through. Only one I ever saw personally was along side the highway in Montana.
Go sit in a lot of boats. Take the family and dogs with you and have them sit and move around as well. That would give you a better idea of what you are wanting. Think about what you would take with you, coolers, inflatables,etc and plan around those as well. If you do consider new sometimes the saying you get what you pay for comes into play. Cheaper boats have cheaper parts and your dealers reputation will be worth a lot if something needs to be taken care of under warranty.
