Morning / Evening All. Looking to be off to a decent start of the day. Might hit 60’s which will help dry things up a bit.

Saw a report from the US Geographical survey, the Red River near Grand Forks, ND is sitting about 8 miles wide in some spots. All that water eventually end up here, already lots of highway closures incl I29 south of the border.

Stihl have a list of stuffs to do. Scrap to the yard is one. Going to the tree job to hump some wood on the truck .....
after that the day will play it's course. Garage needs cleaning, dump truck needs work, ....

Waiting on a warehouse to open for me to make a pick up, this rig is waiting to unload. I think it’s a pretty cool old rig, registered in Quebec so a couple thousand miles from here, not just a local.

I've a soft spot for cab overs of all sorts.
Seeing that one with the long wheel base, my mind thinks it would be a cool tandem dump.

That kid should be sent packing. The lack of give a damn has no place inside a garage.

When I was at CCTC in the automotive program, there was a guy who left some lug nuts loose, causing the truck to lose the passenger side rear tire. The bedside was ruined, and the driver wound up in the ditch. The truck belonged to the dean of the school's wife.

Number one rule for lug nuts was to use a torque wrench and verify proper torque settings before walking away from the wheel.

The student was escorted off the school property the next morning before the classes got started.

Agreed but, I still think forcing him to push a broom is very demoralizing. Make him quit. No unemployment for him .....
Or, if he stuck with it, maybe a chance back under the hood would be in order down the road. Sometimes all one needs is to learn an unspoken lesson.
