Booked this week off so I could finish cleaning up the yard for spring. Not much chance of that with some snow still on the ground and what they are calling “the worst blizzard in decades” heading our way.

Because it's not seeing the door open.
You either have a bad switch (part of door latch/lock asm.) Or a broken wire or bad terminal for the door switch circuit..
It will eventually turn off after the 10 minutes of retained accessory power times out.
Still under warranty?
If not and you going to go after it yourself, I can get you wire schematics.

Well *s-word. Its still under warranty so i guess a visit to the dealer is in order. I better make sure it’s clean so the mechanic isn’t posting pictures of it online
