I think in 20 years manual labour will almost be a thing of the past:(

I just dont see how it can be.
No matter how advanced we become, there will always be a need for someone to dig dirt that cant be reached with a machine.
How much would it cost for a machine that can build a dwelling unit for people, or a factory?
Are we going to make giant 3D printers to make everything?
Maybe, but whos going to put them together and fix them when they need it? More robots to fix the other robots?
Dont see it.

The bandit is built better plus no proprietary john deeresque special parts like the vermeer. Look at a bandit 250 instead.
Friends have a place on Woodruff Lake right around the corner from their factory. Really old school place. Multiple buildings with various parts hanging outside of each awaiting assembly. They look pretty heavy duty.

This was yesterday. My tie in point was in 3" diameter Norway maple. Almost completely suspended from the rope. I'm meticulous about checking the rope before every climb.View attachment 258980
You has a lot of faith in ropes sir.
I has a lot of faith in my harness/lanyard combo as well. Check, double check, then go.
Still need to get a decent harness to go with the gaffs I got from dad. He upgraded to nylon reinforced lower straps, but I need to do the shin straps. His belt is still decent, but not what I need to get my fat arse in a tree and expect to stay there.

get you a sacrificial stick or something your hand shouldnt go past the entrance
Uh huh!
Brett, you see what that thing does to TREE limbs?
Those are harder than YOUR limbs.
That thing does not give one FUGG if its chipping a tree or you. It will do its job.
Watch every limb you put in to make sure they are turned so they dont try to pull you in. If you cant turn them, have a saw handy to make them safer.

That's what I hoped you'd say. But you can get tangled other ways smart watch, pimp ring, lumbersexual flannel shirt, etc. Load that sucker from the side ALWAYS!
No watches or rings on my body. I usually just wear a lightweight tshirt that I always keep tucked into my chaps

Dang y’all are giving me some good chipper advice, I appreciate it. I always keep either a 2511 or a 355 beside me for slicing up the big stuff

You can make the pusher paddle in the pic above out of a dowel and 2x6. The 2x6 should be just wide enough that the chipper throat stops it from going into the feed wheels. For fuk sake I'd like to beat your boss, if you don't have one on the machine!

I should probably put one on it. My boss never installed one. You can come down here and beat his ass for all I care
