Yes. A lot of our equipment that isn't made in Jaypan comes from our plant down there in Maryville. Plus my buddy transferred to it and lives in Vonore now. So I've been down plenty to visit him, buy off on equipment, or learn something at our training center down there.

Been through there a handful of times in my way to Tellico Plains on the Harley. Beautiful area down there. Lots of great riding.

I've seen the ghost town that was Alcoa, but the Knoxville and Maryville area seem to be thriving. Nashville seems to be the same. Is it mostly just the rural areas suffering from consolidation down there? Up here we still have industrial parks in even the smallest towns.

There seem to be plenty of jobs in or near the major cities. But the cost of living there makes it a barely break even situation.

Here ya go. I used treated on the legs but won't again. The spalling will eat up the board before rot. Especially since its indoors all winter. I hang my plates from scrap conveyor belts. I had a source for the new but to short to use ends of belting rolls but no longer do. I have enough left though that will last me years. These are the original belts and they have lasted 4 years. They are for moving freshly roll formed sharp metal bumpers in an automotive parts production facility. I use lag screws into the wood. Glad to see you took some precautions. Not sure about insurance etc, but a fella with some abilities and drive can make enough to feed himself.

A man's got to have land.
7 out of 8 of us 2 brother's and 5 sister's
Own our own homes.
We all work always have
But insurance and retirement at a job
Takes priority.
I've seen many people lose everything over medical debt
With no insurance.
I'm near death if you see me at a doctors office.
But when I tore my knee to pieces a couple years ago I was immobile
And hobbled in and told the hospital I didn't have insurance
That time it saved me 5 or 6 thousand dollars.
They normally double or triple charge insurance companies.
A listed on the hospital website 1200.00 procedure for example
They charged my brother 4600.00

I had to look it up too.
Seems there was a govenor issue and they liked to blow up and most of them went back to Mac.
