I retired in 2017, started to turn to jello, told the wife I needed to do "something", out of the blue I get a call from the company I am working for now. Wants to get a branch going in my area,(Knoxville). I said I will talk to them. Hit it off really well, told them what I wanted, and they said ok.Sweet. A couple of fullas from work left us to go do that. Doing very well for themselves too.
They know they need me, I know they need me. So I get to train people with potential and make sure they get opportunities to practice what they learn. Like having my own company, without the headaches. The company gets to see how other methods work besides the use them and lose them method. Going well right now. Should it stop, I can retire again.
It is a good gig if you grab every opportunity to learn. Once you can fix and setup any of the stuff, you are irreplaceable. I know, they keep trying.
