Got new swing arm bushings for the Ranger today
Bronze instead of polymer
Be installing them after all the snow plowing is done

Building up on each pad and got too tight
I’m just glad it snapped the wheel studs and not a axle [emoji106]

Exactly!!
Chains, pads//grousers, ice build up means they are going to tighten. We had a customer that insisted on pushing snow with a dozer. After two broken rails and low drive power complaints he finally got it. Packed snow and ice means tighter rails/chains.

I was hoping they would give me floatation and traction in the snow and they did but
Thought maybe putting some slip plate on them to see if it would not build up but think I will sell them

I'm sure they would be fine in wet sloppy mud and give you better flotation and lower ground pressure.

Grandpa started in 1950 with an Allis Chalmers model C. He said it was MUCH better than a damn mule.
I still have his 10" Oliver mule drawn plow.
Those fellas were a BIT tougher then we will ever hope to be.

Can you loosen em right off tension wise to account for the ice build up Mark? Or do you just run the risk of slippage or throwing em off?
