All 3 seem to have good P&C.
I'll have to investigate further when I have time.
Gotta get that 262 back together first.

I was forced to take some time to get a few of my own saws squared away. Now I have a pretty good selection to choose from.

Ready to go to woods today.....

Do it. The 268 is way underrated.....because there is a 272 you know. These saws really rip.
Are they the strongest saws there is
No
But they cut far above
What they should for how much they weigh
basically a 60cc sized chassis
I can run them all day with a 24" bar without fatigue
I don't even hardly run my 288s anymore.
The 266/268/272 ported saws I have are not far apart at all in power.
But you really need to know how to start a high compression 266 or 268 that never had decomps.
Nobody's ever been able to start my ss266
Several claimed it was locked up.

I thought white oak, but don't recall the leaves on that tree and admit I'm not the best by i.d. by bark...
Isn't hickory and white oak bark similar or is it hickory and red oak?
The hickory around here has that real shaggy look. That looks like oak to me.
