Got those. I took some mechanical advance away in order to be able to run a little more static timing. Took away a little too much. I need to grind the slots out a little. I miss the old distributor machine we had when I was in school. You could set this stuff up without so much trial and error.

An old friend passed away and his wife gave away his distributor machine. That thing built many a spark slinger.
I still have a few built one wire Chevy HEI distributors around and a few spare modules. We could spin these 68 to 7000 rpm in a round track car all season then put a new bushing in it for use as the spare next season.

Are you deleting the vacuum advance?

No sir. Am running the vacuum advance. But from manifold vacuum rather than ported vacuum.
