Yep. First one wasnt going where I wanted.
Second one wasnt great either...
Have no worries bud. I have a story about me and a tree that I may share at the GTG so the experts can scold me. To much typing here for this story. Certain parts of my body puckered and I didn't touch a saw for a while afterwards I'll say that.

I'd blame the yellow gravity...

Nah, it's on the ground and no-one got hurt. Job done.

Did
you
climb
it

tho?
Yeah, about 20' to put the steel cable around it.:)
I pulled both of the sweetgums. They had a decent lean toward the house and power line. Both pines had enough lean in the right direction, so I just notched and let them go.
Face cuts/notches went good on the sweetgums, just wasnt wild about the back cuts.
Made it easier with the loader hooked up. Just left about 2" of holding wood and yanked em over.

Uh huh.
Had one go the wrong way years ago.
Holding wood broke, came off the stump, looked like it was aiming for me.
I can move pretty fast when I need to.:confused:
Learned a lot that day.
