I have to show my daughter the pic of that VW van and matching trailer when she gets done with work.
She's currently on a kick of buying a van, converting it to a camper and driving the country after high school.
Just the other day she was trying to convince me she needed a restored one for $48,000....

I like her thought process Ed. The VDubs have a good following, still find used whole or parts vehicles, and aftermarket stuffs abound. You would be a good teacher, and I'm sure the quality time together would be beneficial to both of yinz. Have her look at the spark plug and tool pouch under the hood on the silver #653. Little touches like that make it personal. Here is a style I've never seen. Don't know the history. But bed sides and tailgate hinge down to a flatbed. Kinda cool maybe not so much for her though.
