On the tractor situation, ive got a 1946 Allis Chalmers model C. About 20 hp. No remotes. No live pro.
And then theres the 1948 Ferd 8N. Same options, plus a 3 point, and about .2 hp.
That Allis will pull the Ferd in half, and its a row crop tractor.
