All the VA models where hacked after 1956.

They had quite a few variations over the years.

VA. Fixed wide front.
VAC. Adjustable wide front or narrow front
VAI industrial version of VA
VAO low platform orchard fenders and exhaust
VAH high crop adjustable front
VAS high crop offset engine. Quite rare too. I think less that 20 or so but don't hold me to it.

i was 16 maybe so 30 years ago when i ran it
spent alot of time brush hogging and tedding and raking hay on that tractor
probably lack of maintenance is why brakes was *s-wordty
i wasnt as mechanically inclined then as i am now

Nice tractors though. Only one I ever rode was a Farmall. Don't remember the model, M maybe? Narrow front end.

lol my uncle has a super c and a couple h models

The tohatsu rebadged mercs are Up to30hp. Merc makes their own 40hp. Tohatsu makes up to 50hp. 60 and larger tohatsu are Honda. Tohatsu now makes a 60hp that is basically a 3 valve per cylinder version of my 40-50hp. It’s a bunch of marketing *f-wordery lol

Evinrude "portable" engines up to 40 hp were Suzukis, at least a few years ago.
I bought a 9.9 Suzuki branded 4 stroke electric start for a little boat I used to have before I got the Mayfloat.
Sweet little motor. Short shaft. Tiller shift. Shallow water drive.
