Both those P'sOS need to be taken out and shot. I would have zero qualms doing it and ridding society of their asses. Then drink a good cold beer or ten.
I have no idea where they live
But what'll be somewhat of justice
These types when they are caught
Their filthy associates.
Will steal everything they have
While they are in jail
Don't get the idea this is common
There are very few thieves around here.
Especially since covid
More and more people are working from home
And these cowards turned their attention to construction companies now.

Fuel tank drains should be used weekly Ken. Like Pat has stated they make water absorbing media filters. Every bulk tank should have one along with each unit. They also make a plastic dildo looking affair that has a desiccant cartridge inside. It comes with a long stainless leader you submerge in your fuel tank and secure to the filler inlet. They work well and are reasonably priced. Size depends on tank size.

Most modern aftermarket fuel systems are going to microglass element which has no drain because the filter itself absorbs water, as it does this it swells. When you start to lose power and fuel pressure you know it’s time to change the filter. I started using these about 10 years ago and I’ve yet to see any rust in the injection pump return line banjo fitting after an inspection. I’ve seen rust in factory fuel filters and modified with drains and traditional cellulose type filters. If you pull that return banjo fitting and you see rust that injection pump got a dose of water.
Water and water mixers are the death nail for sure. Steam with minerals does an amazing amount of damage to high pressure oil systems. It will lift main bearings right of the seats on gas motors run hard. The injection process is far faster and much worse at wreaking havoc on chit.

That’s when you grenade injector nozzles and blowtorch pistons lol

I was referring to the filter drains. Tank drains are sorely overlooked by most. People say things like, "That has a drain on it?" Oh my....

Honestly if I was gonna buy a diesel I would go with with an LB7 or LLY. People beat off to the LBZ and now the prices of them have skyrocketed. I like my Fords but Ford hasn't had a good diesel since the 7.3L.
The reason I bought the 97' 7.3T. It's stock and more than this flat-lander will ever need. It pulls ten k just fine.

I pull my camper and boat behind that through mountains once a year. I even back my torque down to 650lbft and lock out of 6th gear. We will see what that helps.

Update.
Wife spoke with the wife of one of the first responders.
It was a guy from Athens, not oir neighbor. Car was smashed and burned, so couldnt tell. Theres a guy down the road he ran the stop sign on thats REAL popular.
Gets lots of visitors that dont stay long.;)
Hate to see anyone end that way, but if he was doing what I think he was doing, its nobodys fault but his. Just sorry he hurt other people. Bus driver said he never slowed down or acted like he knew there was a stop sign.

Morning girls.
Sad one this morning. Someone pulled out in front of a school bus and got t-boned.
Right in front of our house.
Kids all made it out.
Bus driver and attendant walked away from the bus, but were transported to ambulance on gurneys.
Noone in the car survived.
Died on impact, hopefully before it went up in flames.
I wont take pics of accidents, especially if someone dies.
There is one as I was heading out there. Its blurry because I was running, but you can see the blaze.

Sorry to hear that’s how you started your day. Relieved by the news that it wasn’t anyone you knew. I’m about done this week of sad news.

i did a heater core on a 98 f250 and to get the hoses off i was elbow deep under the cab section and took me 14 hours to change everything had to come out of the dash to get to it
i said never again
They are not too bad.
Try Lincolns or full size Mercs made before 2000.
Fun stuff pulling out the dash.
Trucks ain't bad. Having the the exact needed tools makes it heaps easier. Electrical tape and a wide selection of quarter inch sockets and every extension made is what you need. Plus the ten degree swivel drive jobs. Power ratchet makes it a bit less than a day job. Some books time it at seven to nine hours. I can/could do five with cheats and no interruptions or bs. Now days I'm book time maybe. At least six hours.
