Hard case alright. Here you are deliberately putting up natural looking wood. I cant wait to paint white over our honey stained pine planking because i'm sick of looking at it.
We have a room and a hallway of that color pine. Yellow from the oil based polyurethane. Im good with it if it's the whole room but we went a different route with the bedroom. Unfortunately those doors were done with the last remodel. Also, out with the brass, in with the oil rubbed bronze for everything. All the knobs, hinges, lighting, outlets.... everything. These two doors are the last step fir us. Carpet comes next Monday. Fugg playing carpenter.

+1. Carpentry is stupid at times. But it's the reason i have everything i do. Plus I'm guessing that i would mot be considered office material. LOL

It's what keeps me going you sexy mfer...

I can understand that.

So....we are changing two perfectly good doors to finish that master bedroom remodel because my ocd will not allow them to stay. See picture....

Helmsman spar urethane on those doors. Water based sealer on the cedar walls. Not about to sand those doors. Sanding the frames was enough.

Looks great. Of course you realize that the walls will get darker over time, and wind up matching the door.....

So it's okay for them to go deep if you know the guy? Lol

We need to ask @sawmikaze that question.

We lived in a house with Scandinavian pine ceilings. My wife hated it. She counted each and every knot in each and every plank over....and over....and over....

i would mot be considered office material

I've been meaning to talk with you about that....
