So I gotta ask you as I'm looking to upgrade. Will that Wally World special hold ice all day in the back of your service truck with the sun beating on it??

I'm not sure they still sell this Ozark trail 55 quart. They went to the Lifetime brand down here. Doesnt seem as well built. Ive had this one 3 years I believe. Replace the rubber latches every year. Less than 10 bucks from Amazon. Think the cooler was $150. Had the first one stolen, cause I forgot to put the lock cable on. Better than losing a $400 Yeti.

I was staying in a cheap hotel awhile back. Didnt notice there was a full length mirror on the door til I openned the shower curtain to get out.
That fat, ugly, nekkid mfer nearly gave me a heart attack!

That's for sure Ed. On the diesel side we are running engine oil through a high pressure pump to actuate the variable geometry turbo and EGR valve. So with higher combustion temps, ring heights, and hydraulic functions engine oil is put through it's paces. It's an engineering and manufacturing catch 20.

For sure.
The Duramax just uses its oil as oil. Turbo and EGR are both electric.
I always looked at Hpop systems like I look at what they do with the gas engines of today and wonder how they can keep asking so much of the stuff required just to make it live.

We just bought a Blue brand Cooler. I'll hopefully be able to report on its capabilities in August Ohio heat later this year.
