im ready for winter

Not me, not here.
Most of this past winter was below 30*F.
Averaged in low 20s. Had a spell in the single digits.
1850s farmhouse @4500sqft heated with wood only. Ton of updating to do. I'll be huggin the stove again this coming winter.
Wouldn't have it any other way though. Love country life in the hills.

When its roasting and I sweat, it evaporates.
When it's freezing out, and I sweat from to many layers, it freezes.
Go figure... I prefer the heat and was born practically in Canada.

I don't mind the cold...sometimes I even like it.

Doubt it. He lives over on my brother in law's farm now. He usually buys my bull calves, and I work them for him as part of the deal.

Just port saws. It will take several years before you hate saws as much as I do.

Just port saws. It will take several years before you hate saws as much as I do.

This was a dugout for Little League or I would’ve declined. Split face and a bunch of lentel blocks that are probably 65 lbs each. Got a pole barn and small breezeway addition to pour and build just to supplement the saw work, and should be done with those before August

The woods was good to me today. The ramps are past where they were last year at this time, the leaves have mostly died. The bulbs are swollen though(comments welcome) and delicious. Also found some morels and oysters. Made the best supper yet up here with the shrooms and some flavored brats.

Well if ive got most of the humidity down here, then its giving folks up north a break.
I live in Northeast GA. Close to the mountains.
The folks down south have WORSE humidity, and gnats.
Fugg those little annoying bastids...
