Well if ive got most of the humidity down here, then its giving folks up north a break.
I live in Northeast GA. Close to the mountains.
The folks down south have WORSE humidity, and gnats.
Fugg those little annoying bastids...

I wish I could say “great” but I got woken up around 05:30 with a headache. I,m sure it’s a side effect of the 2nd AstraZeneca jab I had on Saturday morning,

I will see how the rest of the day goes.. but I think it’s best to try and snooze the rest of day away. after I’ve finished brewing the beer I started this morning, which will be in the next 1/2hr. I thought I’d try to make the most of not working today.

Karawanken is a Mountain range in front of my Home.. and bär is bear! We have Brownbears here. So it means a Bear from this Mountain range. At the Top of this Mountains along are also the Border to Slovenia.

View attachment 295903 The woods was good to me today. The ramps are past where they were last year at this time, the leaves have mostly died. The bulbs are swollen though(comments welcome) and delicious. Also found some morels and oysters. Made the best supper yet up here with the shrooms and some flavored brats.

Not me, not here.
Most of this past winter was below 30*F.
Averaged in low 20s. Had a spell in the single digits.
1850s farmhouse @4500sqft heated with wood only. Ton of updating to do. I'll be huggin the stove again this coming winter.
Wouldn't have it any other way though. Love country life in the hills.

Imagine if you lived in a really cold climate and had to use oil or propane! How much wood do you use? Conventional OWB burning fresh cut wood?

Bugger! I hope you get it figured out. I went to pump the tank MT in my truck. Tied some tubing and not going through any filters the pump took 3 hours to dump the 15 gallons of beautiful home brew diesel I had Left in it. Probably still some in there. Gonna be fun dropping the tank. It barely put out a trickle. Another confirmation that the lift pump is faqed!
