I'm not trying to be a troll, but this seems the most appropriate place to ask my question.
Why do Stihl model numbers not make any sense at all? Husqvarna and Echo actually make sense. I can determine the rough cylinder displacement by reading the model number. Stihl is just all over the place. I've only been paying attention to chainsaws since 2018, so I am obviously a novice, but this has been bugging me for a while.
