Damn slacker.

Lol yes that’s basically it. Due to there being an inductive circuit current is 90 degrees out of phase lagging the voltage. Apply 12 volts to a small coil of wire and collapse that magnetic field by removing the voltage. (Points job). You will get a much higher voltage flying back due to the current still flowing in that coil. Use a primary and a secondary with a turns ratio to get your plugs a solid 40000+ voltage. All i read was "they pump extra smoke in at the factory".
This resistor was supposed to come with the coil.....and this instruction sheet.

What’s that 2 series?Spent $125 to buy 8 more project saws. 2 362s, 011, 031, 339XP, 142, a 2 series Husky, and an old concrete saw

Not sure of the exact model. Looks to be on the same chassis as my 254What’s that 2 series?
No tag eh? Just curious. Not sure of the exact model. Looks to be on the same chassis as my 254
Didn’t see a tag on it. Probably just covered in dirt and grime. I’ll clean the outside and see if I can find anything for yaNo tag eh? Just curious.
Parents made us listen to the Statler Brothers, box car willie, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline and others all the way to Disney world while my dad chain smoked marlboro reds with the windows up the whole way. Still a fan of classic country.
If it’s a 257 259 261/2 I will buy it from youDidn’t see a tag on it. Probably just covered in dirt and grime. I’ll clean the outside and see if I can find anything for ya
I love trumpet! I was a band nerd too! Lots of funSounds like every family vacation we took until I was 11. In 1981 dad bought his very first new car, Pontiac Parisienne Brougham. He loved that car so much they never smoked in it, instead every road trip now needed a rest stop every 2 hours... not classic country either actually. Maybe some JC but more big band Duke Ellington, Dizzie Gillespie etc.
I blame them for me wanting too and learning to play trumpet, although I did get to tour Canada and parts of Europe with our school bands.
I got them back in 1988 when I slid that Pontiac in to the back of a bus and totalled it. Man I miss those velour seats...
I gots a 261 I’m gonna build and port here when I get caught up!262xp

I don’t have a piston or a cylinder. I have an hda199 to convert when I build it. If you’re willing to part with any parts to get me closer let me know.Assuming your cylinder is good, all you need for a 262 conversion is a 262 piston, three shoe clutch and (when ported anyway) a larger bore carb. Oh, and a baffle delete on the muffler.
The one in the pic above is an earlier one and may or may not have the larger hda87 carb.
I’m probably gonna keep this saw once I get it cleaned up and fixed. If I ever do feel like selling it then I’ll PM youIf it’s a 257 259 261/2 I will buy it from you
