The solenoid varies oil through here

Into the 1st cam journal, here

And from there into the camshaft itself which seals to the cap with 2 Vinton seals.

From there it's out the front of the cam into the actuator.

The actuators have an internal mechanical lock to prevent them from rattling on start up.

They've picked up the nickname Craptiva here. Transmission and engine issues.

That's something my hack azz p.o.s service manager would have done back in the day.

They are easy.
4.5 hours, I will have it out, chains on, cleaned up, and reassembled.
Maybe even squeak the alignment in too.

Some of the fine iron work weve been dealing with.
Customer said he hired ironworkers to put it up.
I asked when they were getting there, because whoever was messing with it made a fugging mess.

Just FYI, those holes were SUPPOSED to line up with holes in that column...

Masking tape and sharpie notes are good Ed. Saves a f---k up for sure. Especially in a multi tech shop. Liking it!!

My brother lived in Shanghai and Hong Kong for at least a decade.....then the Chinese got Hong Kong back, and he left.

My wife and her friends used to go to Hong Kong for shopping weekend.
I myself have never been there, Hong Kong & China are not high on my list.
Vietnam, Japan, Bhutan are something completely different, would love to visit those three countries.
